This privacy policy sets out how Appliance Cover Assured Limited uses and protects any information that you give Appliance Cover Assured Limited when you use this website.

Appliance Cover Assured Limited is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

 This policy is effective from the date you receive your paperwork.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND STORE 

We may collect the following information:

• Name and Address.

• Contact information including phone number and/ or email address.

• Items covered .

• other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers.

WHAT WE PROMISE

• We do not share data with any third parties.

• Data is retained for the length of the customers policy, and for a maximum of 14 days after expiry.

• Data is protected via two step authentication requests for accessing the database. 

• If the business transfers ownership, all passwords and security information will be updated.

We collect this information for the purposes of knowing which items are covered by us, and where we will need to send engineers/ replacement items, as well as contact details for timeframe updates.

This information is collected at the point of sale, either over the phone or via this website.

Customers can opt out of having any data stored by cancelling their policy at any time, or if the policy is not renewed within 14 days of the previous plans expiry, they will be automatically removed. 

Any disputes will be handled immediately, and will result in any stored information being removed, as well as a pro rata refund being issued for any time left on the policy, or in full if within 14 days of the start date.
